Maxbond Construction Adhesive is a synthetic rubber based adhesive designed primarily for the installation of flooring and wall panels. Maxbond Construction Adhesive is also ideal for bonding most common construction materials such as metal, timber and concrete.

Not recommended for mirrors on ceilings, freshly painted surfaces, waterproof surfaces, wallpaper, copper based material, constant water immersion, vinyl backed mirrors with safety backed film.
Installing particle board, fibre cement, plasterboard, plywood and strip flooring to joints.
Bonding fibre cement sheet, plaster board and wall panelling to timber and metal studs
Skirting board, architraves and trims to walls
Mirrors to vertical walls
Replacing loose tiles on walls (not recommended for floor tiles)
Suitable for fixing polystyrene wall panels provided directions are followed
All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, oil or other contamination. Sand painted surfaces.
Application: Cut tip off cartridge and pierce inner foil seal, cut nozzle to desired size. Use continuous wavy beads spaced at 40cm intervals aong flat surfaces, joists, battens or studs. Within 10 minutes fit surfaces together and press firmly. Can be repositioned for up to 20 minutes. If bond is under immediate stress support or clamp until a strong bond develops.
In heavy load applications eg subfloors use nails or screws in addition to Maxbond Construction Adhesive. For faster bonding and for mirrors apply to one surface only, press together, tilt panel back to allow solvent to escape then brace until set.
For bonding mirrors apply a 5mm bead every 20cms. Do not apply in blobs.
